Verizon announced the next generation DROID Smartphone, the new DROID 3 by featuring a side-slide full QWERTY keyboard. While its predecessor Droid /Milestone and DROID 2/Milestone 2 come with a 4-row keyboard, the new DROID 3 has a 5-row keyboard, adding a dedicated row for numbers. It is powered by a dual-core processor running at 1 GHz with 512 MB of RAM and runs Android 2.3 OS.
